My dog is missing, why?
No one has entered your dog or an event where your dog was at the start. The database can be accessed by every registered user. That means, that a dog's data can be entered and edited from any account holder. Everybody is allowed to register (register here) and add your dog(s). Find Video-Tutorial here how to add a dog.
The race / event is missing, why?
The database is the work of entered users, each user can add unlimited races to the database for free. If an event is missing, no one entered the data yet. Feel free to do it by yourself! Older races can be added to the database, too. Events older than one year can be added but they don't count for rating points (RP's). So if race data is missing, register here and add data.
How do you count?
The base of our ranking system is the number of beaten dogs in the same race. The last 365 days are relevant for the points. More information here.
Can I send you results in xls/doc format?
No. We don't add any results to the database. All results you can find here were added by registered users.
There are mistakes in a result list, what should I do?
Correct it. Log in, choose eventmanger, search for the event, select it, select the race with the wrong result by unlocking it (click on the lock-icon). Now you can edit all data. Afterwards lock it. done.
I've added results but the points were not added.
Wait. The system calculate the rankings 4 times a day, it's not done immediately. Be sure that you haved closed the race by clicking the calculate-button.
I've added and international race but it was mark.ed as national.
To get the full points for an international race it's minimum 6 dogs started are required.
Who is responsible for data quality?
You. All data were added by sighthound enthusiastes, so everyone is asked to increase quality and quantity of the database.
I've found the event but my breed is missing. Why?
Because anybody entered the results of your breed. Feel free to do this by -> register, -> login, -> eventmanager, -> select event -> add race and results, calcukate points.
How can I add upcoming events?
In same way like the others, the system will recognize it depending on the date and list it at the upcoming pages.
